Charges apply once free time is exceeded. Free time depends on the vehicle type below.
How it works
Waiting time starts when the vehicle is ready and available to load/unload, but delayed by site/customer/consignee circumstances.

Tip for faster turnarounds
Have access, staff and the load ready before ETA, and flag any site rules (gates, booking-in, time slots) at booking.
When it may not apply
If delay is caused by us (e.g. late arrival without external reason), waiting charges are not applied.
Hand-balling (manual handling)
Only applies where requested or where site conditions require manual handling beyond standard vehicle equipment.
Note
Manual handling time is billed in hours (or part-hours) as applicable to the job and vehicle type.

Cancellation
Cancellation charges depend on notice before the scheduled collection time and committed resourcing.
Practical approach
Where possible we’ll try to minimise costs. Short-notice cancellations may still be chargeable if a vehicle/driver has been committed.

Rebooks / returns / refusals
Any rebook, return or redelivery is chargeable in line with the original job scope and any additional costs incurred.
Additional drops (multi-drop)
Multi-drop routes are priced to the furthest drop. Drops should be within 5 miles off route; otherwise diversionary mileage may apply.

London charges
Congestion Charge and ULEZ are chargeable at actual cost where applicable.
