Managed freight, from one pallet to full loads
Different jobs require different vehicles and handling. Our own vans cover suitable small loads; HGV movements are arranged with subcontracted road freight partners. Collection slots, POD availability, rate and exclusions are confirmed per booking.

Pallet freight – frequently asked questions
How many pallets can you carry?
There is no universal capacity: UK versus Euro pallets, height, loading metres, stackability, payload and vehicle body length determine how many fit. We confirm the exact arrangement when quoting.
Do all collections include a tail lift?
No. Forklift availability, tail-lift capacity and loading access must be confirmed at both ends. Tell us before booking if a forklift or other unloading solution is unavailable.
Can I book urgent pallet delivery?
Tell us the required timing and location. We check available vehicle and carrier options, then confirm whether the proposed collection and delivery window is feasible.
What are HGV loading and waiting conditions?
Our standard HGV guidance allows one hour of loading or unloading time before waiting charges, subject to accepted booking terms. We confirm any additional charges and cancellation stages before you book.
Will SIG Transport operate the truck?
For HGV movements, SIG arranges and manages a third-party approved haulage carrier rather than sending its own truck. Your transport booking is coordinated through SIG.
